The Motion F1 Glove integrates three Nextiles force sensors strategically positioned at key pressure points of the palm area, specifically designed for the demanding needs of F1 drivers.
The pads are located in the area of the base of thumb, the base of index-middle fingers, and the base of ring-pinky fingers which can detect the force exerted to the steering wheel, while isolating the movement of fingers.
This technology combined with the accelerations and gyrations of the wrists can allow for a deeper understanding of the force variations experienced by drivers as they handle the steering wheel during a wide range of driving maneuvers and actions.
